The charter fee secures the use of the yacht under the command of the captain during the contract period as well as all food and beverages consumed onboard. For most charters, a private chef is also onboard to prepare all meals/snacks. All meals and beverages not consumed onboard are an additional expense. Most yachts also include water toys such as paddle boards, snorkeling gear, kayaks, etc. as well as scuba equipment and fishing gear for use under captain/crew supervision.
Once the contract is finalized and signed, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking with the remaining 50% due 30 days prior to your charter start date. All payments shall be made via wire transfer.

There are always taxis and shuttles at the airport available for hire. For Saint Thomas arrival/departure only, Salty Soul Yacht Charters can coordinate private transportation if requested.
Pack light! You will be spending most of your time in a bathing suit or shorts and a lightweight shirt. We do recommend bringing long sleeve SPF water shirts if you’re prone to sunburn. For dinners, shopping or other land adventures, be sure to bring comfortable shoes. Otherwise, you will be barefoot most of the time on the yacht. Of course, be sure to bring all medications and toiletries you will need for the duration of your charter. We also recommend using collapsible suitcases due to the limited storage space on the yacht.
Upon booking your charter, you will be sent forms that must be completed that include health questions, food and drink preferences and travel/customs information. These forms will be forwarded to the captain and chef for advisement, logistics and for provisioning.
Yes, please use reef safe mineral sunscreen only.

This depends upon the amount of shopping or time on land you are planning. You will also want money for the local fare and drinks at different locations.
